Yik Shing Tat’s Soldering and Micro-joining R&D Center was Established
Published : 2001-09-28
Yik Shing Tat’s Soldering and Micro-joining R&D Center was established in September 2001. The Doctoral Research Laboratory of Harbin Institute of Technology, co-founded with the Harbin Institute of Technology, was also set up.
The Soldering and Micro-joining R&D Center has a high quality R&D team of talents with Ph.D, Master and Bachelor Degree graduates. Its research areas cover solder alloys, fluxes, nano-metal paste and soldering technology etc. The Center had invited Professor He Peng (Deputy Director of State Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding and JOing, Harbin Institute of Technology), Professor Li MIngyu (Dean of Department of Material Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Post Graduate School) as technical consultant, who are strong supports to the company’s technological innovation.
The Doctoral Research Laboratory was set up to train research professionals. With the R&D Center where studies and researches incorporated into manufacturing, Yik Shing Tat’s determination in innovation is well demonstrated.
Research Equipments from the R&D Center
For quick checkof the metal elements in the solder alloy
For evaluating the solderability of solder alloy and flux
